Hi, I'm Jerra, founder and formulator behind Bear’s Beauty. A cosmetologist with a long history of acne, PCOS, migraines, and autoimmune conditions, I created Bear’s Beauty in 2013 out of a personal need: to heal my skin and body without harmful chemicals or endocrine disruptors.
What began with my own need for a safe, effective deodorant became a complete skincare line based on one guiding principle: "Do No Harm—To Skin, To Body, or To Planet."
I started with Hemp Seed Oil, long before it was mainstream in skincare. Its balancing omega profile was transformative, and it remains a hero ingredient in many of our products—always unheated, cold-pressed, and refrigerated to protect its delicate fatty acids.
More Than Skincare—A Mission for Healing
Every ingredient has a purpose. Every product is tested on real skin, never animals. And profits help fund Loner’s Sanctuary, our small, growing animal rescue in the mountains of Colorado, where we care for Rez dogs, cats, rabbits, and more.
We’re also working to restore the land—replanting botanicals, reducing waste, and building a solar-powered, water-efficient GMP lab and garden. This is skincare as it should be: earth-centered, ethically made, and full of soul.
